Cultural database
Short description
The extension et_kultur does the management and the representation of artists on the website. The visitors can search for artists through the input of search words or the choice of different parts or the category list.
Description
All artists and artist groups can be combined to many categories and can contain beside a photo and the address for instance, the dates:
* Vita
* Exhibitions
* Publications
* Instruments / cast
* Performances
* Videos
about which the whole repertoire of an artist can be shown. Also artists and artist groups can be assigned to many different categories. With it the visitors have the possibility to find artists who have exposed in a certain gallery or played in a certain concert hall.
With the search mask the visitors have the possibility to combine several search terms or to select a certain category at a choice box. The combination of different search terms helps to find easily the artists who are active, for instance, at the same time in the columns "photograph" and "film".
The dates of the cultural database can be imported through a CSV file which contains all required dates. So you have to the possibility to create or change the dates either in an Excel table or an external database without double work. To start the import you simply transfer the CSV file on the server and it all contained dates are automatically imported.
