With this extension content from other webservers, webservices or webpages can be integrated in a website.
Description
The biggest problem while integrating foreign contents on an own web page is that, e.g., with save https connections a warning is delivered instead of the content. In addition, it can happen of course that contents are not shown because the distant computer not is accessible.
To work against this problem the extension et_wget was developed which enables to add a web address of a content which should be loaded. This can be either graphics of an e.g. an on-line weather service or also a text or a navigation of another page.
To make sure that the content is fast available also if the source server not is available caching was added to et_wget. With the insertion of the plugin can be added beside the web address an expiry date for a content. Only if this time is reached the content is get from the source server once more. This feature can be also deactivated to get always the newest content.
